Backend engineer working with Python/Django and applied AI — computer vision, device integration, and LLM pipelines. Based in Namangan, Uzbekistan.
I build systems that reach hardware and real users, not just APIs: camera and access-control integrations, models trained on local data, and production backends that people use daily.
nanogpt-uz — open source · Python, PyTorch, tiktoken
A course and a small study on tokenization for Uzbek, a low-resource language.
Measured on the same 200,000-character Uzbek corpus: GPT-4's cl100k_base
needs 84,377 tokens, while a BPE vocabulary of ~1,200 tokens trained on Uzbek
needs 77,405 (0.92×). Around 2,200 tokens it also passes GPT-4o's 200k
vocabulary. Ten runnable notebooks; every number reproducible from the repo.
National earthquake-preparedness e-learning platform — backend · Django, Vue.js · 2022–2023
Built the backend of the distance-learning platform of the Civil Protection Institute (Ministry of Emergency Situations, Uzbekistan). Responsible staff from each enterprise train and get certified through it. Live since 2023 with 240,000+ registered users; my employer at the time is credited in the site footer. Not open source — public system, built under contract.
anpr-uz — open source · YOLOv8, PyTorch, Django, Arduino · 2024
Two RTSP cameras → YOLOv8 detection inside polygon zones → plate crop → OCR by a model I trained myself (500 images, 100 epochs, per-character classes) → Django API for whitelist and payment → Arduino barrier control over pyfirmata. Compared my own OCR against a commercial API for accuracy and latency. The trained weights are published as a release; the dataset is not, because the images came from live cameras and were never anonymised.
face-attendance — open source · InsightFace, Django, Quasar, Hikvision ISAPI · 2024
Attendance for the school I graduated from, built unpaid. Each person is a 512-dimension InsightFace embedding matched by cosine similarity, so enrolling someone is one photo and one row rather than a retraining run. Door release goes through Hikvision ISAPI — the same protocol family I work with today. Published without any biometric data: no images, no embeddings, no database.
Production agritech backend — current role · Django 5.2, DRF, Channels
Telegram bot and WebApp, an LLM pipeline (vision model for detection, second model for recommendations) with token-by-token streaming over WebSockets, payment gateways, and attendance/vehicle access built directly on Hikvision ISAPI. Company code, private.
Deliberately labelled as prototypes — both report what they cannot do yet.
color-sorting-arm — MuJoCo, NumPy · simulation only
A Franka Panda arm sorting red and blue balls into matching bins. Inverse kinematics via the Jacobian pseudo-inverse from a fixed seed pose; an outer loop shifts the IK target until the finger midpoint — not the hand body — lands on the ball, which is what makes grasps succeed. Sorts 4/4 well-separated balls and only 2/6 in dense clutter; that failure is documented rather than hidden, and motion planning is the v2 goal.
computer-use-excel-agent — Claude Computer Use API, pywebview, pyautogui · prototype
A desktop agent that operates an unmodified Excel by looking at screenshots and deciding what to click next — no VBA, no macros, no fixed script. Built to test whether a vision-driven agent loop can reliably drive a real GUI application.
Earlier work, cleaned up and published with the credentials and customer data removed. Each README ends with an honest list of what the project does badly.
fingerprint-attendance — Django, Vue, AS608, pyserial · 2024–2025 · my own idea
A student presses a finger; the parent gets a Telegram message. The sensor keeps the template and returns only a slot number, so the user's primary key is the sensor slot — no biometric data ever reaches the server, and the schema has no column to store any. One press fans out only to the groups that have a lesson that weekday.
education-center-crm — Django REST, Quasar · 2024–2025
Students, courses, attendance and the money that follows them. No balance is stored anywhere: it is recomputed from debts and payments against a target accounting month, and a monthly cron raises each student's tuition debt, discount-aware and safe to run twice.
embroidery-store-backend — Django REST, aiogram · 2024
A six-language catalogue behind a Telegram Web App storefront. The bot runs inside Django, picks a language from the Telegram client, and orders snapshot their prices at checkout.
queue-slots-api — FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Alembic · 2024 · practice project
Appointment slots are never stored as rows. Each employer records how long one appointment takes, and the day is sliced from that duration on every request.
