RootUrlBootstrapper::revert() now restores config('app.url') to its value from before bootstrap().

Previously, both the forced root URL and app.url were reverted to $originalRootUrl (to('/')). These are two separate things: to('/') returns the forced root URL if there is one, otherwise the current request's root URL, while the configured app.url only changes when some code sets it. When they differ before tenancy is initialized (e.g. the app forces the root URL, or a test makes a request to a tenant domain), ending tenancy sets app.url to the root URL instead of its original value.

So for example, if we sent a request to a http://tenant.localhost/end route that ends tenancy and redirects to config('app.url)' (= should redirect the user to http://localhost -- the central app), we'd get redirected to http://tenant.localhost -- the tenant app (mentioning this redirect issue specifically because that's what we encountered while adding a test for handling identification exceptions for pending tenants in the boilerplate)

The original app.url is now saved in a separate property ($originalAppUrl) and restored on revert. The forced root URL is still reverted to to('/').

Summary by CodeRabbit

Bug Fixes

  • The configured application base URL is now restored when tenancy ends, keeping URL generation consistent with the application’s configured address after tenant-specific settings are reverted.
  • Added test coverage confirming the configured URL and generated root URL retain their expected values across tenancy initialization and cleanup.

Also add a regression test -- without the bootstrapper fix, the test fails at assertContent (expects 'http://localhost', receives 'http://acme.localhost' since the app.url config doesn't get reverted properly).

📝 Walkthrough

RootUrlBootstrapper now saves the original app.url before applying a tenant root URL and restores that value when tenancy ends. A test checks the application URL and URL generator root URL after tenancy termination.

A rabbit watched the root URL change,
Then saw the saved value return.
The tenant's URL had its own place,
While app.url stayed as set.
The test checked both after tenancy,
And I hopped home, content.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

Clear the saved URL state after each revert.

RootUrlBootstrapper is a singleton and retains its previous snapshot after revert(). If a later initialization runs after $rootUrlOverride is disabled, bootstrap() returns without taking a new snapshot, but the bootstrapper remains recorded. The next end() can overwrite current central URL settings with stale values.
