• dogfood.py: git output decoded with the Windows ANSI code page; a non-ASCII checkout path crashes it or lets --reset delete the main checkout's _bmad

• migrate_v6.py --fold-specs: on Windows, a read-only or open file in a spec folder stops the fold after the ticket is written, and "run it again" folds the requirements a second time or never finishes

bmad-code-org/BMAD-METHOD#3125 · Filter by author dracic opened on Oct 19, 2026

• bmad setup: on Windows, a directory junction _bmad gets past the symlink guard, and a run that rewrites _bmad replaces it with a plain copy, then exits 1 with "Cannot call rmtree on a symbolic link"

• bmad setup: on Windows, a junction _bmad/custom is turned into a plain copy by a run that rewrites _bmad, so shared customizations silently stop updating
